About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and skilled Técnico de Instalaciones de Telecomunicaciones to join their team serving the Naucalpan, State of Mexico area. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth deployment and activation of telecommunications services, including internet, television, and phone lines, for both residential and commercial customers. The idóneo candidate will be proficient in installing, testing, and troubleshooting various types of telecommunications equipment and cabling. You will be the face of our client to many customers, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and activate telecommunications services (internet, phone, TV) at customer premises.
- Run and manage low-voltage cables (coaxial, Ethernet, fiber optic) neatly and according to code.
- Test installed equipment and services to ensure proper functionality and signal quality.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues encountered during or after installation.
- Educate customers on service usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and manage inventory of parts and equipment.




- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding work progress and any challenges.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Complete all required paperwork and digital reporting accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in telecommunications installation, low-voltage wiring, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment (multimeters, cable testers).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (or company vehicle provided).
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
- Adaptability to varying work schedules and locations within the service area of Naucalpan .
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
