About the Role

Our client, a vibrant sports organization based in Saltillo, Coahuila, MX , is actively seeking a talented and organized Coordinador de Eventos Deportivos y Ligas Menores . This role is central to planning, organizing, and executing a variety of sports events, particularly focusing on youth leagues and community sports initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing budgets, liaising with participants and stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth running of all scheduled events. Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of sports events, including tournaments, leagues, and community sports days.
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, such as venue booking, equipment procurement, and scheduling.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and event staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, coaches, parents, and sponsors.
- Develop marketing and promotional materials for events and leagues.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures during events.




- Liaise with sports governing bodies and local authorities as necessary.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of event participation, results, and financial transactions.

Requirements

- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a sports context.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial tracking.
- Knowledge of various sports and their operational requirements.
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software is a plus.
- A passion for youth sports development and community engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Saltillo, Coahuila, MX .
