About the Role

Our client is a dynamic retail design firm seeking an innovative Arquitecto de Diseño de Interiores y Retail to join their creative team in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . This role focuses on crafting engaging and functional interior spaces for retail environments, from flagship stores to pop-up shops. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in commercial interior design, a keen understanding of branding, customer experience, and retail trends. You will collaborate closely with clients, marketing teams, and construction professionals to translate brand identities into compelling physical spaces. Key Responsibilities

- Design innovative and functional interior spaces for retail clients, aligning with brand identity and customer experience goals.
- Develop conceptual designs, mood boards, space plans, and detailed interior elevations.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting to create compelling retail environments.
- Produce detailed construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives, budget, and timelines.




- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the construction and installation phases.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes and accessibility standards.
- Stay current with retail design trends, emerging technologies, and material innovations.
- Contribute to project presentations and client meetings.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, with a specialization in retail or commercial spaces.
- Proficiency in architectural and design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of branding, merchandising, and customer journey principles in retail.
- Excellent spatial visualization and conceptual design skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and accessibility standards relevant to commercial interiors.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating successful retail interior design projects is required.
