About the Role

Our client, a major industrial conglomerate based in Monterrey, Reciente León , is seeking a highly skilled and certified Public Accountant with expertise in Treasury and Finance. This crucial role will be responsible for managing the company's cash flow, financial risk, banking relationships, and investment activities. You will play a key part in optimizing the company's financial resources and ensuring liquidity to support operational needs and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of treasury operations, financial markets, and corporate finance principles. Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, processing payments, and forecasting cash needs.
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term investment strategies to optimize returns on excess cash.
- Oversee banking relationships, negotiate fees, and ensure optimal utilization of banking services.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including currency and interest rate exposure.
- Support capital raising activities and debt management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare treasury reports and financial analysis for senior management.




- Collaborate with accounting and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, finance, or a related accounting role, preferably in a large corporate setting.
- Proven experience in cash management, financial risk management, and investment management.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking operations, and corporate finance.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Monterrey, Nuevo León , and able to work full-time on-site.
