This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across multiple locations, including support for operations related to Mexicali, Baja California, MX . Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage day-to-day aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Develop, implement, and refine operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable aviation regulations (e.g., DGAC, FAA, EASA) and company policies.
- Manage maintenance resources, including personnel, parts inventory, and facilities, optimizing allocation and utilization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of maintenance professionals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance operations, driving continuous improvement.
- Oversee the planning and execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.




- Implement and manage robust safety and quality assurance programs within the maintenance division.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, including flight operations, engineering, and supply chain.
- Manage budgets and financial performance for the maintenance operations department.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in aviation maintenance management, with a significant portion in operational leadership roles.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, procedures, and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing large, dispersed teams and complex operational environments.
- Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and drive performance in a remote work setting.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and ERP systems.
