About the Role

Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is looking for a detail-oriented Airport Operations Analyst to join their team in Acapulco, Guerrero . This hybrid role involves a blend of on-site responsibilities at the airport and remote analytical work. You will be responsible for analyzing airport operations data, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, safety, and passenger experience. This position requires strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of airport processes, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. The idóneo candidate will contribute to the seamless functioning of the airport by optimizing resource allocation, monitoring key performance indicators, and collaborating with various airport stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring the airport operates smoothly and efficiently, serving passengers and airlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to airport operations, including passenger flow, aircraft movements, and gate utilization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for management.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve service levels and reduce costs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with airlines, air traffic control, security, and ground handling services to coordinate operations.
- Support the management of airport infrastructure and resource allocation.
- Participate in incident response and contingency planning.




- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging technologies in airport management.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for airport operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in airport operations, airline operations, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, statistical software).
- Familiarity with airport operations, air traffic control principles, and airline procedures.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of airport safety and security regulations is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to the airport for on-site work as required by the hybrid schedule.
- Must be able to work in Acapulco, Guerrero for required on-site duties.
