This leadership position involves overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards, regulatory compliance, and efficient inventory management. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of pharmaceutical products and services, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all pharmacy staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Implement and maintain robust quality control procedures for all pharmaceutical preparations and dispensed medications.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and managing expiration dates to minimize waste.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve pharmacy operations and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement in quality and safety.
- Manage pharmacy budgets and financial performance.
- Provide exceptional patient care and counseling on medication use.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication regimens.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent qualification.
- Valid and unrestricted pharmacist license in Mexico .
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in pharmacy management or a related leadership role.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing quality control systems within a pharmacy setting.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, best practices, and quality assurance principles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with pharmacy information systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
