07 - Construction Estimator / Project CoordinatorAbout the roleWe are hiring construction estimators and project coordinators to work 100% remotely from Mexico for general contractors and specialty subcontractors in the US.What you will doEstimating- Perform quantity takeoffs from PDF drawings and specifications.
- Build cost estimates using the client's labor rates, material pricing and subcontractor quotes.
- Request and compare supplier and subcontractor bids; level them for the estimator or owner.
- Track bid invitations and deadlines; prepare bid packages and proposals.Project coordination- Prepare and track submittals, RFIs and change orders.
- Keep the project schedule, meeting minutes and document log current.
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries with suppliers.
- Support pay applications and lien waivers with the accounting team.What you bringMust have- Degree in civil engineering,



architecture or construction management (Ingeniería Civil, Arquitectura).
- 3+ years in estimating (cuantificación y presupuestos) or project coordination.
- Comfortable reading architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Intermediate-to-advanced English (B2+), especially written, for RFIs and supplier emails.
- Advanced Excel.Nice to have- Takeoff and estimating software: Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On Center, STACK or ProEst.
- Project management software: Procore, Buildertrend or similar.
- Experience with U.S. projects, imperial units and CSI MasterFormat divisions.
- Specialty trade experience: concrete, framing, drywall, mechanical or electrical.
