We were created to meet the modern needs of integral trade and immigration, offering an affordable, reliable, and easy process that works as well for personal documents as it does for international advertising campaigns. About the Position
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our technology team. Our business currently runs on two platforms: an established WordPress and PHP platform that serves customers today, and a new platform built with Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL on Google Cloud that we are actively developing and moving toward. You will work on both, maintaining and improving the current system while helping build and stabilize the new one.
The work covers feature development, API integrations, database work, performance tuning, and troubleshooting live systems. You will work closely with the IT team lead, go through code review on every change, and follow a structured staging-first release process. This role suits someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys understanding how a system works before changing it.
This is a full-time remote position of 8.5 to 9.5 hours per day. You will need a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet place to work.
ResponsibilitiesCurrent Platform (WordPress / PHP)
- Maintain and extend custom WordPress themes, plugins, and PHP code across a multi-site setup.
- Build and update landing pages, forms, and customer-facing features.
- Work with Gravity Forms data, custom database tables, and MySQL queries.
- Diagnose and fix production issues such as PHP errors, slow queries, timeouts, and plugin conflicts.
New Platform (Next.js / TypeScript / GCP)
- Build features in Next.js and React using TypeScript.
- Design and update database schemas and queries with Prisma and PostgreSQL.
- Write and maintain API routes and server-side logic.
- Help migrate functionality and data from the WordPress platform to the new platform.
- Work within a Docker-based build pipeline deployed on Google Cloud.
Across Both Platforms
- Integrate and maintain third-party services, including CRM, payment, analytics, and automation tools, through REST APIs.
- Improve performance by finding bottlenecks in the frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Refactor code to improve stability and maintainability.
- Write clear pull requests, respond to code review feedback, and review code from teammates when needed.
- Test changes on staging before release and support QA during scheduled deployments.
- Keep task progress, decisions, and documentation updated in ClickUp.
These are examples, and day-to-day responsibilities may vary.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
- At least 2 years working with PHP and WordPress, including custom theme or plugin development using hooks and filters, $wpdb, and the WordPress REST API.
- At least 2 years of production experience with React or Next.js using TypeScript.
- Solid SQL skills with MySQL,
including writing and optimizing queries, and working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Comfortable with Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, including input sanitization, output escaping, nonces, and safe queries. Our platforms handle sensitive customer documents and personal data, so this is essential.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Prisma or another TypeScript ORM.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Cloud SQL, deployments, logging).
- Working knowledge of Docker.
- Experience with Gravity Forms or other WordPress form systems at the database level.
- Experience with Linux servers, cPanel, Apache, or PHP-FPM.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or A/B testing.
- Experience migrating an application from one stack to another.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when debugging unfamiliar code.
- Able to work independently and manage your own tasks without close supervision.
- Careful and detail-oriented, particularly with changes that affect live systems.
- Clear written and spoken English, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.
- Open to feedback and comfortable working in a team that reviews every change.
System Requirements for Remote Work
- Computer with an Intel i5 processor or equivalent, or better.
- 16 GB RAM recommended (needed to run Docker and local development environments comfortably).
- Stable internet connection of at least 50 Mbps download.
- Quiet workspace and ergonomic equipment.
