We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented International Logistics Specialist t o join our operations team. This role is responsible for coordinating international freight shipments, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, managing documentation, and supporting customers throughout the shipping process. The adecuado candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: International Freight Coordination Manage and coordinate international import and export freight shipments across ocean, rail, truck, LTL, and small package carriers.
Route, quote, and book freight movements while ensuring all shipment requirements are met.
Communicate with carriers and logistics partners to facilitate smooth shipment execution.
Documentation & Compliance Prepare, organize, and maintain shipping and customs documentation for international freight moves.
Ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations and government requirements.
Monitor shipments and maintain accurate records throughout the transportation process.
Customer & Partner Support Serve as a point of contact for customers, agents, and partners regarding shipment requirements and updates.




Provide shipment tracking and status updates as needed.
Support internal teams and external stakeholders by providing guidance on international shipping processes.
Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate shipment data and operational records.
Assist with invoicing processes and documentation review.
Research and evaluate logistics partners, carriers, and service providers to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transportation operations preferred.
Knowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation requirements.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications: International ocean or air operations experience.
Knowledge of INCOTERMS and import/export documentation processes.
Experience working with freight booking, shipment coordination, and logistics documentation.
