Apply now and become a part of our exciting journey!**Job Summary:**The Engineer IV will play a crucial role inleading the design and development of **rail infrastructure.** Your experience and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our rail projects, from concept through construction. You will work with clients, lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the deliveryor high-quality rail solutions. You will apply techniques and procedures in accordance with established criteria to perform assigned tasks. This position performs routine **technical work** that requires previous experience.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*** **Assist** the Project Manager in project planning.* **Handless administrative tasks** to support project management* **CAD Design:** Utilize **Computer-Aided Design (CAD)** software to create detailed **drawings, plans**,



and **layouts** for rail infrastructure and related components.* **Technical Expertise:** Apply knowledge of **rail design principles** to solve complex **engineering challenges**including developing **detailed construction cost estimates** and **project specifications**.* **Technical Support:** Collaborate with **a team of engineers** in Mexico and U.S. to provide **technical support** in the development of rail projects, ensuring design meets **quality** and **client standards**.* **Data Analysis:** **Collect** and **analyze data** relevant to rail projects.* **Collaboration:** Work closely with **cross-functional teams**, including engineers and project managers, to ensure **seamless project execution** and **compliance** with design requirements.* **Quality Assurance:** Participate in **quality assurance** and **quality control** activities to ensure designs are **error-free** and meet client standards.* **Mentorship:** Act as a **mentor** to **junior engineers** and **designers**, providing **guidance** and support to promote their **professional growth**.* **Other Duties:** Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs.## Qualifications**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:*** **Advanced English level** - written and spoken is **required.*** Proficiency in **CAD software** (AutoCAD and Civil 3D) is required.* **Microstation,** InRail and Open Rail experience is a plus.* Knowledge of **rail industry regulations**, codes and standards.* Attend **project meetings** and present specific aspects of engineering assignments.* Strong **attention to detail** and problem-solving skills.* Ability to **work collaboratively** in an international team environment.* Eagerness to **learn and adapt** to new technologies and tools.* **Engaged** in life-long learning to **maintain knowledge** of contemporary issues.* Proficiency with **electronic communication**, including **e-mail** and **text**, as well as **standard office applications** (e.g., **Microsoft Office Suite**)* Effective **oral** and **written communication skills.*** **Comfortable** leading design and multidisciplinary teams.**Required Education and Experience:*** **Bachelor’s degree** in **Civil Engineering*** **4+ years** of prior experience* **Professional License****Preferred Education and Experience:*** **Master’s degree** or equivalent**Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.:*** Diploma or specialized course in Railway Systems.**Why RailPros?
