About the Role Our client, a prominent leader in the Bienes de Consumo Masivo (FMCG) sector, is seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain and Operations Manager to join their team in Mexicali, Baja California . This role is crucial for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and production planning to warehousing and distribution. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong track record in supply chain management, a deep understanding of operational efficiencies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Oversee procurement, inventory management, production planning, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain and operations team.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality policies.
Implement best practices in supply chain management and operational excellence.




Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain and operations functions.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and operations, with a significant portion within the FMCG industry.
Proven experience in managing complex supply chains, including planning, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in supply chain management software (ERP, WMS, TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model based in Mexicali, Baja California .
