We're looking for a highly detailed and experienced QA Tester, responsible for executing comprehensive test cases, ensuring strict platform compliance, and safely operating console Devkits.
Specifications: Freelancer RESPONSIBILITIES Execute comprehensive QA Compliance testing to ensure the title meets the certification guidelines for each platform (Sony TRC, Microsoft XR, Nintendo Lotcheck).
Operate, update firmware, and securely manage Console Dev Kits and Test Kits (Nintendo Switch, Play Station 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S).
Design, document, and execute general Test Cases (such as daily/weekly Smoke Tests) and feature-specific tests focused on game mechanics and performance.
Extract and analyze crash dumps, memory logs, and performance metrics using proprietary console development tools (e.g., SDKs, Target Manager).
Document bugs accurately in tracking systems (such as Jira), including steps to reproduce, video evidence, and native console logs.
Verify the correct implementation of hardware-specific features (profile management, cloud saving, trophies/achievements, and system suspend/resume functionality).



REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Tester or similar role in game development.
Proven hands-on experience operating development hardware (Dev Kits/Test Kits) for at least one of the current console families (Nintendo, Play Station, or Xbox).
Solid understanding of certification standards and platform submission processes (TRC, XR, Lotcheck).
Analytical capability to create and maintain Test Case suites (Smoke, Regression, Feature-specific).
Proficiency in bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello).
English B1 - Intermediate (Ability to read technical hardware documentation in English and write bug reports). + PLUS Basic understanding of test automation processes or scripting (Python, C#).
Previous experience testing projects developed in commercial game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) and deploying builds to consoles.
Previous experience in a game development environment (Game Testing), collaborating directly with programmers and designers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
