Job: Java Full Stack Engineer

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

Job Description:

- Build a new cloud-based accounting platform from the ground up
- Address gap in modern engineering capabilities and SAP integration expertise
- How this role fits into the broader project:
- Core contributors responsible for designing and building UI, APIs, and integration layers
- Participate in shaping architecture and technical direction during early discovery

3. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop full-stack applications supporting cloud-based accounting workflows
- Build modern UI screens using React (aligned to AOM framework approach)
- Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Integrate UI and services with SAP systems, including SAP CAR
- Contribute to defining a decoupled, scalable architecture (likely microservices-oriented)
- Support event-driven integrations using Kafka




- Collaborate with stakeholders during the discovery phase to refine requirements and scope
- Deliver incrementally via milestone-based releases (screen/API rollout)
- Implement strong automated testing practices (BDD/TDD using Cucumber or similar tools)
- Identify and mitigate risks related to SAP integration and system design

4. Required Skills (Must-Haves)

Technical

- Strong full-stack development experience
- Java and Spring Boot (backend services)
- React (modern frontend development)
- SQL / MySQL (data persistence)
- API development and integration (RESTful services)
- Event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
- Cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP)
- Automated testing (Cucumber or similar BDD frameworks)
