The FP&A; position involves analyzing financial data and providing strategic insights to support commercial activities within an organization. Responsibilities typically include preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models, evaluating business performance, analyzing sales trends, pricing strategies, and profitability, and providing recommendations to optimize commercial operations. This position collaborates with sales, marketing, and other commercial teams to develop financial plans, assess investment opportunities, and drive revenue growth. They play a critical role in aligning financial goals with business objectives, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring the overall financial health and success of the organization's commercial activities. Responsibilities & Objectives
• Developing and maintaining financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for commercial activities, such as sales, marketing, and pricing.
• Analyzing financial and operational performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of commercial strategies and initiatives.
• Identifying and explaining variances between actual and budgeted performance, investigating underlying causes, and recommending corrective actions.
• Creating financial models to evaluate the financial impact of different scenarios, investments, or strategic decisions related to commercial activities. •Analyzing sales trends, customer behavior, pricing strategies, and revenue streams to optimize sales performance and profitability.
• Monitoring and analyzing commercial expenses, including marketing spend, sales incentives, and overhead costs, to control expenses and improve cost efficiency.




• Generating accurate sales forecasts and demand projections based on market trends, historical data, and business insights to support inventory management and production planning.
• Collaborating with sales, marketing, and other commercial teams to provide financial guidance, support decision-making, and drive business growth.
• Contributing to the development of commercial strategies and initiatives by providing financial insights, recommendations, and scenario analyses.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports, performance dashboards, and analysis findings to senior management and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Assessing financial risks associated with commercial activities, such as pricing volatility, market competition, and regulatory changes, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial FP&A; activities.
• Among other duties as assigned.
