About the Role

Our client, a prominent leader in the Bienes de Consumo Masivo (FMCG) sector, is seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain and Operations Manager to join their team in Mexicali, Baja California . This role is crucial for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and production planning to warehousing and distribution. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong track record in supply chain management, a deep understanding of operational efficiencies, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, production planning, warehousing, and logistics operations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain and operations team.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality policies.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management and operational excellence.




- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain and operations functions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management and operations, with a significant portion within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in managing complex supply chains, including planning, procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (ERP, WMS, TMS) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model based in Mexicali, Baja California .
