About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using (Specify Backend Language/Framework, e.g., Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
- Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to define and implement new features.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and responsiveness.
- Implement and manage database solutions (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) ensuring data integrity and security.
- Write clean, well-documented,



and testable code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
- Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with emerging backend technologies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, adapted for a remote work environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
