About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in aerospace technology, is seeking a talented Avionics Systems Engineer to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote flexibility with necessary on-site collaboration at our facility in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, MX . You will be responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, and certification of complex avionics systems for next-generation aircraft. This position requires a deep understanding of avionics hardware and software, communication protocols, and system integration techniques. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems, including flight controls, navigation, communication, and displays.
- Define system requirements, architecture, and interfaces for new avionics platforms.
- Perform system analysis, simulations, and modeling to predict and verify performance.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and conduct system-level testing and validation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex avionics system issues during development and flight testing.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and certification requirements (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).




- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and certification documents.
- Support flight test campaigns and provide technical assistance to flight crews.
- Stay abreast of emerging avionics technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics systems engineering.
- Proven experience in the design, integration, and testing of avionic systems.
- Strong knowledge of avionics communication protocols (e.g., ARINC 429, ARINC 664/AFDX, CAN bus).
- Familiarity with avionics certification processes and standards.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and system modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, balancing remote work with on-site duties in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, MX.
