The Opportunity

We are pursuing a major AI transformation initiative with a leading insurer in Mexico. The goal is to transform how the insurer’s agents and distributors resolve day-to-day issues: payment and collection discrepancies, policy issuance and endorsement tracking, and portfolio prioritization. We need a senior business process analyst who knows insurance operations firsthand to help us understand the business, shape the solution, and lead discovery workshops with the client.

What You Will Do

- Lead discovery workshops with business and operations stakeholders, in Spanish and in person in Mexico City as needed
- Map current-state processes, variants, exceptions and handoffs across policy administration, billing and collections, endorsements and distributor service
- Identify pain points, root causes, dependencies and owners across processes, systems and teams




- Translate business findings into clear requirements and use cases for our AI and integration architects
- Help define the scope of a minimum viable product (MVP) and phased roadmap with measurable business outcomes
- Produce executive-ready deliverables in Spanish: process maps (BPMN), capability and gap analyses, findings reports
- Support proposal and client presentations (near-term)

What You Bring
- 8+ years as a business/process analyst or operations lead in the insurance industry
- Hands-on experience with the agent/distributor channel (promotorías, brokers, agents) and core processes: issuance, endorsements, billing/collections, renewals
- Strong command of process mapping (BPMN) and requirements definition
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops with senior business stakeholders
- Native or fluent Spanish and professional English (you will work with US and India-based technical teams)
- Clear executive communication, written and verbal

Strongly Preferred
- Experience at a Mexican insurer (e.g., GNP, Met Life, Mapfre, Qualitas, Allianz, Zurich, AXA, Seguros Monterrey) or a consulting firm serving them
- Familiarity with Mexican insurance regulation (CNSF) and the agent channel in Mexico
- Exposure to digital transformation, CRM, agent portals, or AI/automation projects
- Based in or near Mexico City
