About the Role
Our client, a renowned beachfront resort in the vibrant city of Acapulco, Guerrero , is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef Ejecutivo to support the Executive Chef in managing their diverse culinary operations. This role requires a creative individual with strong leadership capabilities and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. You will play a key role in menu development, kitchen management, and team supervision, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for resort guests. Become an integral part of a prestigious culinary team in one of Mexico's most iconic destinations.
Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards.
Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating innovative culinary ideas.
Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of food supplies to control costs and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Monitor food quality and consistency across all dishes.




Collaborate with F&B; management to ensure a high-quality dining experience.
Uphold the resort's reputation for culinary excellence. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar senior kitchen role, preferably in a resort or upscale restaurant environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent understanding of food costing, inventory control, and waste management.
Proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP).
Creative flair and passion for gastronomy.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work versátil hours, including weekends and holidays, in Acapulco, Guerrero. Benefits
