11 - Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialists
About the role
We are hiring Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable specialists to work 100% remotely from Mexico for small and mid-sized companies in the U. S., mainly construction, distribution, manufacturing and professional services.
What you will do
Accounts payable Receive, code and enter vendor bills; match them to purchase orders and receipts.
Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH and checks) for approval.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies by email or phone.
Collect W-9s and keep vendor records current for 1099 reporting. Accounts receivable Create and send customer invoices, including progress billing where needed.
Apply customer payments and keep the aging report clean.
Follow up on overdue invoices by email and phone in English.




Support month-end close with AP/AR reconciliations for the bookkeeper or controller. What you bring
Must have 2+ years in accounts payable and/or receivable.
Hands-on Quick Books Online or Desktop experience.
Intermediate English (B1+) for vendor and customer emails and calls.
Solid Excel: lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations.
Accuracy with numbers and a habit of documenting what you did. Nice to have Experience with U. S. companies or U. S. accounting (ACH, 1099s, sales tax).

Construction billing experience: progress billing, retainage, lien waivers.
