About the Role
Our client, a premier management consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultor de Estrategia Operacional to join their team in Torreón, Coahuila, MX. This role is integral to helping clients optimize their operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for analyzing existing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and developing practical, data-driven solutions that enhance performance and drive sustainable improvements. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong analytical toolkit, a deep understanding of operational best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with client teams to implement change. This is a challenging role requiring hands-on engagement with client operations.
Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of current operational processes, supply chains, and manufacturing systems.
Identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
Develop and implement optimized operational strategies and process improvements.
Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Collaborate with client teams to ensure effective implementation of recommendations.
Develop KPIs and monitoring systems to track operational performance post-implementation.
Analyze financial impacts of operational changes and present business cases.




Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the firm's operational best practices.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to clients. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical), Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or operational consulting.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Strong analytical skills and experience with operational data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on approach.
Strong project management and client-facing skills.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for analysis and modeling.
Ability to travel to client sites as needed in Torreón, Coahuila, MX and surrounding regions.
