About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Coordinador de Logística de Compras to manage the inbound logistics of purchased materials and components. This role, based in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco , is vital for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to our facilities, supporting production schedules, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain coordination, and a keen understanding of transportation management and customs procedures. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the transportation of purchased goods from suppliers to company facilities, ensuring on-time delivery.
Coordinate with logistics providers (carriers, freight forwarders) to schedule shipments and optimize routes.
Track shipments and provide real-time updates to internal stakeholders, including procurement and production teams.
Manage customs clearance processes for imported materials, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Optimize logistics costs through effective negotiation with carriers and route planning.
Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipment details, costs, and delivery times.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure alignment between procurement plans and logistics capabilities.




Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inbound logistics.
Manage and resolve any logistics-related issues or delays promptly.
Support inventory management by ensuring timely receipt of materials. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or transportation management, with a focus on inbound logistics.
Strong knowledge of transportation modes, international shipping, and customs procedures.
Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with carriers and suppliers.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving logistical challenges.
