About the Role

Our client, a dynamic financial institution, is looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their team in the vibrant tourist destination of Cancún, Quintana Roo. This critical role will ensure the company adheres to all relevant banking and financial regulations, policies, and procedures. The adecuado candidate will have a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in the Banca y Finanzas sector and a meticulous approach to compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting internal audits, and liaising with regulatory bodies. This position is based in Cancún, Quintana Roo , a growing hub for business and finance in Mexico. We seek a proactive individual committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage the company's regulatory compliance program.
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and internal audits.
- Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Provide training to employees on compliance policies and procedures.




- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.
- Ensure all operations meet legal and ethical standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certification in compliance is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of national and international banking regulations.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Cancún, Quintana Roo.
