Senior Integration Engineer

Remote, Mexico

Are you passionate about building large-scale applications leveraging public cloud services and integration design patterns? As an Integration Engineer, you will work on developing and maintaining Integration & Automation Solutions for Legion WFM customers.

Integration Engineers provide leadership, facilitate analysis and design tasks, and support multiple Legion teams in developing an enterprise's solution architecture. Technical Integrations, Customer-Centric Consulting, Legion Product Expertise, and a Commitment to One Another.

Design and implement scalable integration architectures connecting Legion with HR, POS, Payroll, and other enterprise systems.

Design, Build, and Test integrations using Workato
Ensure high-performance, reliable integrations using modern cloud platforms.
Improve development practices and stay ahead of agile software engineering trends.
Work with core engineering and production engineering teams to improve backend reliability and troubleshoot production issues
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Share expertise and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge‐sharing.
Support process improvements and advocate for scalable, sustainable integrations.
Commit to high‐quality work, setting personal and team objectives aligned with organizational goals.
Graduate of a university with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant STEM field, including Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant degree
~ Possess exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills, including verbal, written presentation, and listening.
~Demonstrate proficiency with Core Java.
~ Experience with Relational Databases, SQL and JDBC (one of Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
~2+ years of experience using AWS technologies such as AWS CDK, Cloud formation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2
~ Demonstrate experience with test‐driven development.




~ Strong experience with Java/RESTful web services
~ Exposure to agile software development leveraging toolsets (e.g., Jira, Git Hub, Jenkins)

~ Proven track record of using problem‐solving / root‐cause analysis

Preferred experience in the design and implementation of scalable integration solutions with integration platforms such as Workato, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, Snap Logic
Technical consulting experience.
Experience of working with Docker and other isolation technologies.
Experience working with external applications integrations end‐to‐end such as Workday, SAP, etc.
