About the Role Our client, a prominent construction company operating in Puebla, Puebla , is seeking a skilled and experienced Jefe de Obra (Edificación) . This role is central to the successful execution of diverse building projects, from residential complexes to commercial structures. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. We are looking for a proactive leader with a strong technical background in civil engineering and construction management, capable of making critical decisions on-site and fostering a collaborative environment among subcontractors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities for building projects in Puebla , managing timelines and resources effectively.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site labor to ensure work progresses according to the construction plan and specifications.
Implement and enforce stringent health and safety regulations on the construction site, conducting regular safety audits.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to keep the project on schedule and budget.
Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct quality inspections at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with architectural and engineering designs.




Maintain detailed daily logs and progress reports, documenting site activities, issues, and resolutions for management review.
Liaise with the project manager, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project communication and stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations in Puebla, Puebla .
Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in site management and construction supervision, with a focus on building construction.
Demonstrated experience managing construction projects in urban environments, preferably in Puebla .
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, building codes, and safety standards.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and basic CAD viewing.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in Spanish.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
