About the Role Our client, a leading cybersecurity firm, is actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Analista de Seguridad de TI (SOC Analyst L2/L3) to join their 24/7 Security Operations Center. This critical role involves advanced monitoring, threat detection, analysis, and response to security incidents across a complex general infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in security tools, incident response methodologies, and threat analysis. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to a vital security function. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for cybersecurity and a proven ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts from various tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.) and perform in-depth analysis.
Investigate security incidents, determine scope, and guide containment and eradication efforts.
Perform advanced threat hunting and analysis to identify sophisticated threats.
Develop and refine detection rules and use cases for security monitoring tools.
Respond to security incidents according to established procedures and playbooks.
Document incident details, investigation steps, and resolution actions thoroughly.
Collaborate with Tier 1 analysts, incident responders, and other security teams.
Stay current with the latest threat intelligence, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC processes and toolsets.
Provide technical mentorship to junior analysts (L1).
Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity,



Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or incident response role, with a strong focus on L2/L3 analysis.
Expertise in using and configuring SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
Proficiency with EDR, IDS/IPS, network forensics, and malware analysis tools.
Strong understanding of threat landscapes, attack methodologies, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical findings.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 operational environment and adapt to changing threats.
