We are looking for a proactiveAccounting Managertoown and driveday-to-day accounting operations and statutory compliance for legal entities in Mexico and other Latin American countries. In this role, you will work closely with local accounting teams and cross-functional partners, support audit processes, and follow up on audit and internal control findings. You willidentify root causes and recommend improvements to business processes and internal controls to reduce future risks.
Prepare, review,



and post journal entries for monthly and annual closings for legal entities across Latin America. Manageday-to-day accounting and finance activities in coordination with local teams, in accordance with local accounting policies and corporate processes. Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate significant or unusual balances.

Ensurecompliance with applicable local accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with accounting teams in different countries and maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders. Participate in local audits and support the preparation of annual financial statements. Coordinate with tax teams toensuretimely and accurate filing of annual tax returns. Follow up on audit and internal control findings,identifyroot causes, and recommend process improvements.
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant accounting experiencewith hands-on responsibility for statutory closing and reporting. Fluent English, both written and spoken (required). Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting and reporting requirements. experience with Mexican statutory audits and SAT filings is strongly preferred. Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes. Experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office. A growth mindset with willingness to learn new tools and technologies, including AI-powered accounting solutions.
