About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Facilities Manager to oversee operations in Querétaro City, Querétaro . This critical role involves ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety, and user experience across all managed sports facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, operational planning, and staff supervision, coupled with a passion for sports and community engagement. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of sports facilities, including arenas, fields, and training centers.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Manage budgets for facility operations, including utilities, supplies, and repairs.
- Supervise and train facility staff, including custodians, maintenance technicians, and event support personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with event organizers to meet their facility needs and ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, repair, and equipment services.
- Develop and implement security protocols to ensure the safety of patrons and staff.
- Monitor facility usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.




- Plan and oversee capital improvement projects for facility upgrades and renovations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing sports facilities or similar large‑scale venues.
- Proven experience in budget management, operational planning, and staff supervision.
- Strong understanding of building maintenance, safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Proficiency in facility management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of the sports landscape and community needs in Querétaro .
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle unexpected issues effectively.
- Certification in facility management (e.g., CFM) is advantageous.
