About the Role

Our client, a leading energy exploration and production company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ingeniero de Flujo y Producción Remoto to join their operations. This position is based in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, MX , but operates under a fully remote work model, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the flow assurance and production performance of oil and gas assets. This role demands a deep understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and production system modeling. The successful candidate will leverage advanced simulation tools and data analytics to ensure efficient and safe hydrocarbon recovery, supporting the company's commitment to operational excellence and innovation in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed analyses of wellbore and surface facility flow dynamics to identify potential production constraints and risks.
- Develop and implement flow assurance strategies to prevent issues such as hydrate formation, wax deposition, and emulsion blocks.
- Utilize simulation software (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM) to model multiphase flow and predict system performance under various operating conditions.
- Analyze production data from remote monitoring systems to optimize well performance and field output.
- Collaborate with subsurface and facility engineers to design and implement solutions for production enhancement and flow optimization.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, including risk assessments and mitigation plans for flow assurance challenges.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance to operational teams worldwide.




- Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in multiphase flow and production engineering.
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes.
- Manage projects related to flow assurance and production optimization, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in flow assurance and production engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard flow modeling software such as OLGA, PIPESIM, or similar.
- Strong understanding of multiphase flow principles, thermodynamics, and fluid properties.
- Experience with production data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Previous remote work experience is highly preferred.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup for remote work.
