About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize, design, and develop new mechanical systems, components, and products using advanced CAD software.
- Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications compliant with industry standards.
- Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other simulations (FEA, CFD) to validate designs.
- Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure product viability and market fit.
- Conduct design reviews, identify potential issues, and implement design modifications to optimize performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Research and evaluate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.




- Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including BOMs, technical reports, and test procedures.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements in mechanical design.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and field teams as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion 360) and PDM/PLM systems.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
- Experience with simulation tools (FEA, CFD) for design validation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote setting.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
