About the Role

Our client, a growing transportation and logistics company, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Coordinador de Flota y Logística to oversee operations in the Acapulco, Guerrero area. This pivotal role involves managing a fleet of vehicles, optimizing delivery routes, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, clients, and management. The adecuado candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of logistics software, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the vehicle fleet.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor driver performance and adherence to schedules and company policies.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Liaise with clients to confirm delivery details and address any concerns.
- Manage and train dispatch staff and drivers.




- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national transportation laws and regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in fleet management and logistics coordination.
- Proven experience with logistics software and route optimization tools.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Residency in or near Acapulco, Guerrero , and ability to work a hybrid schedule.
