About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent and diligent Gerente de Gestión de Riesgos y Cumplimiento Corporativo to oversee the company's risk management framework and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in Culiacán, Sinaloa . This role is crucial for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the organization's operations, financial stability, and reputation. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of risk management principles, regulatory landscapes, and corporate governance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust policies and procedures to safeguard the company and maintain its integrity in a complex business environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the corporate risk management framework.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize potential risks across all business operations.
- Develop and implement strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee the development and execution of internal audit plans.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance reviews.
- Develop and deliver training programs on risk management and compliance to employees.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.




- Advise senior management on risk exposures and compliance matters.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CRM, CAMS) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing comprehensive risk management programs.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance best practices in Mexico.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience within the Sinaloa region is a plus.
