About the Role

Our client, a leading entity in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly experienced Ingeniero de Producción de Energía Eólica Senior to join their dynamic team in Cancún, Quintana Roo . Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize energy output and minimize downtime for wind farms.
- Conduct performance analyses of wind turbines and associated infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage maintenance schedules, coordinate technical teams, and oversee repair operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations departments to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Monitor energy production data and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of upgrades and new installations.
- Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.





Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on wind energy operations.
- Proven track record in optimizing the performance of wind turbine fleets.
- Expertise in wind energy systems, including SCADA, predictive maintenance, and energy storage solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and simulation tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English is advantageous.
- Availability to travel to different sites within the Quintana Roo region as needed.
