About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing innovator in the food delivery space, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for their virtual restaurant operations. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to contribute from anywhere. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of multiple ghost kitchens and delivery-only food concepts, ensuring seamless operations, high-quality food production, and exceptional delivery service. The idóneo candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food service operations, and a proven ability to manage a remote team effectively. You will drive efficiency, implement best practices, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the operations of multiple virtual restaurant kitchens, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Manage and motivate remote kitchen staff, including chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Implement and enforce operational standards, food safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, delivery times, food quality, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with technology partners and delivery platforms to optimize order fulfillment and delivery logistics.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for all virtual kitchen locations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce complaints.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement timely solutions.




- Onboard and train new kitchen staff remotely.
- Contribute to menu development and operational planning for new virtual brands.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in restaurant management or food service operations, with a focus on delivery or virtual kitchens.
- Proven experience managing multiple locations or operational units.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (e.g., HACCP).
- Excellent understanding of technology platforms used in the food delivery industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico and have a stable internet connection.
