About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Advise on international mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial agreements, distribution agreements, and licensing contracts.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws, sanctions, and export controls.
- Provide legal guidance on foreign direct investment and cross-border structuring.
- Manage international dispute resolution and litigation as needed.
- Conduct legal due diligence for international transactions.




- Develop and implement global corporate policies and procedures.
- Liaise with foreign legal counsel and international regulatory bodies.
- Stay current on global legal trends and their impact on the business.

Requirements

- Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international corporate law.
- Proven expertise in cross-border transactions, M&A;, and international contracts.
- Strong knowledge of international trade, investment, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
- Demonstrated experience advising multinational corporations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have reliable internet connectivity and a suitable home office setup.
