About the Role

Our client, a growing company with operations in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua , is seeking a versatile Abogado de Derecho Corporativo y Mercantil . This hybrid role requires an individual adept at handling a broad spectrum of corporate legal matters, including entity formation and governance, contract review and negotiation, regulatory compliance, and general corporate advisory services. You will work closely with various business units to support their legal needs, ensuring that all operations align with legal requirements and company policies. The adecuado candidate will possess strong legal drafting skills, a solid understanding of commercial law, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the legal infrastructure of a developing organization, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including service agreements, supply contracts, and leases.
- Assist in the formation, dissolution, and ongoing management of corporate entities.
- Provide legal support for business transactions, including due diligence processes.
- Manage corporate record-keeping and compliance documentation.




- Respond to legal inquiries from internal stakeholders across different departments.
- Support the legal department in various corporate and commercial legal projects.
- Monitor changes in legislation that may impact the company's operations.

Requirements

- Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably in-house or in a law firm serving corporate clients.
- Solid understanding of Mexican corporate law and commercial practices.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Must be able to attend the office in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua for scheduled meetings and collaborative tasks.
