About the Role

Our client, a significant entity in the hidrocarburos sector, is seeking a Senior Natural Gas Production Engineer to contribute to their operations near Toluca, State of Mexico. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the extraction and processing of natural gas resources. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement production plans for natural gas fields.
- Monitor well performance, artificial lift systems, and surface facilities for gas production.
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of gas processing plants and associated infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to natural gas production and transportation.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers to forecast production and develop field development strategies.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for well workovers and facility upgrades.
- Manage operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.




- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to management.
- Mentor and guide junior production engineers and field staff.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in natural gas production engineering and operations.
- Proven expertise in gas well performance analysis, artificial lift, and flow assurance.
- Experience with gas processing, dehydration, and compression systems.
- Proficiency in production software and data analysis tools relevant to gas operations.
- Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles related to gas production.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations for natural gas operations.
- Experience working in a hybrid capacity supporting operations near Toluca, State of Mexico.
