About the Role

Our client, a premier management consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultor de Estrategia Operacional to join their team in Torreón, Coahuila, MX . This role is integral to helping clients optimize their operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. You will be responsible for analyzing existing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and developing practical, data-driven solutions that enhance performance and drive sustainable improvements. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong analytical toolkit, a deep understanding of operational best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively with client teams to implement change. This is a challenging role requiring hands-on engagement with client operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed assessments of current operational processes, supply chains, and manufacturing systems.
- Identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Develop and implement optimized operational strategies and process improvements.
- Utilize lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with client teams to ensure effective implementation of recommendations.
- Develop KPIs and monitoring systems to track operational performance post-implementation.
- Analyze financial impacts of operational changes and present business cases.




- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the firm's operational best practices.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to clients.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical), Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, industrial engineering, or operational consulting.
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with operational data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Strong project management and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for analysis and modeling.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed in Torreón, Coahuila, MX and surrounding regions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Spanish.
