About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Tutor/a de Estimulación Cognitiva to support children and adolescents in Mexicali, Baja California . This role focuses on providing personalized academic and cognitive support to students who may require assistance in areas such as memory, attention, problem-solving, and critical thinking. You will work on an individual or small group basis to develop and implement tailored strategies designed to enhance cognitive skills and academic performance. Key Responsibilities

Assist students in understanding and completing academic assignments, reinforcing learning concepts. Utilize engaging and age‑appropriate techniques to foster cognitive development and learning. Monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback to students, parents, and the educational team. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and any challenges encountered. Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a consistent approach to student support.



Stay informed about best practices in cognitive development and educational support strategies. Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence and motivation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Pedagogy, Education, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children and adolescents in an educational or therapeutic setting. Demonstrated understanding of cognitive development and learning processes. Knowledge of various cognitive enhancement techniques and academic support strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Proficiency in Spanish is required. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of individual learners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have legal authorization to work in Mexicali, Baja California.
