About the Role

Our client, a renowned hospitality group in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, MX, is seeking an imaginative and experienced Creative Director of Gastronomic Experiences. This unique role involves conceptualizing, developing, and executing innovative culinary and hospitality experiences that highlight the rich gastronomic heritage of Oaxaca. The Creative Director will lead the artistic vision for new ventures, existing establishments, and special events, ensuring a captivating and authentic experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and develop unique gastronomic experiences, menus, and culinary concepts.
- Oversee the creative direction for new restaurant openings and renovations.
- Collaborate with chefs, mixologists, and hospitality professionals to bring creative visions to life.
- Develop and manage brand narratives and storytelling for culinary offerings.
- Ensure that all experiences reflect the authenticity and richness of Oaxacan culture and cuisine.
- Lead creative projects from ideation to execution, managing timelines and budgets.
- Stay abreast of general culinary trends and innovative hospitality practices.
- Develop engaging content for marketing and promotional materials related to gastronomic experiences.
- Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the culinary and hospitality teams.
- Design and oversee special events,



tasting menus, and culinary workshops.

Requirements

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a creative leadership role within the hospitality, culinary, or event design industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in conceptualizing and executing high-quality gastronomic experiences.
- Strong understanding of culinary arts, food trends, and cultural influences, particularly Oaxacan cuisine.
- Exceptional creativity, artistic vision, and storytelling abilities.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams.
- Experience in menu development, food styling, and event design.
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Must be able to work effectively in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, MX, and potentially travel for inspiration and research.
