About the Role

Our client, a leader in specialized construction services with operations across Mexico, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director de Calidad y Control de Procesos for a fully remote position. This senior role is responsible for establishing, implementing, and overseeing the company's comprehensive quality management system across all projects and operations. The idóneo candidate will possess a deep understanding of quality assurance and control methodologies, process improvement techniques, and a proven track record in driving organizational excellence. You will work remotely, collaborating with project teams, management, and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of quality are consistently met, supporting projects nationwide, including those potentially in Hermosillo, Sonora .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Establish quality control procedures and standards for all phases of construction projects.
- Oversee internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate the quality of deliverables.
- Train and mentor project teams on quality standards, best practices, and the effective use of quality tools.
- Monitor project quality performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Investigate quality-related issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints, implementing corrective and preventive actions.




- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure quality considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.
- Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization, supporting projects from Hermosillo to other regions.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Process Control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in implementing and managing QMS in the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools, statistical process control (SPC), and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proven ability to lead audits, manage non-conformities, and drive corrective actions.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills in Spanish.
- Fluency in English is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and manage a remote team.
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Six Sigma Black Belt are highly preferred.
