About the Role

Our client, a significant force in the automotive manufacturing landscape, is seeking a skilled Industrial Processes Engineer for its facility in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes. This role is central to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing production workflows. The adecuado candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset and practical experience in implementing industrial engineering principles within a high-volume production environment. You will be a key contributor to maintaining competitive advantage through superior operational performance. The position is based at our modern plant in Aguascalientes, a hub of automotive innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Design and implement improved layouts for production lines and workstations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all production activities.
- Apply lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to streamline operations.
- Conduct time and motion studies to improve productivity and ergonomics.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement process changes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency and implement corrective actions as needed.




- Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing process.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train production personnel on new processes and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or process engineering, with a strong preference for the automotive sector.
- Solid understanding and practical application of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes.
