About the Role

Our client, a key player in the dynamic media and public relations sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Gerente de Relaciones con Medios y Portavocía to lead their communication efforts in Naucalpan, State of Mexico. This vital role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with media representatives, managing the company's public voice, and ensuring consistent, positive brand messaging. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for journalists, producers, and media influencers.
- Prepare company spokespersons for media interviews and public appearances.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze its impact, and report findings to senior management.
- Manage media inquiries efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely responses.
- Organize press conferences, media events, and other outreach activities.




- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure communication consistency across all channels.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in media relations or public relations, with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with diverse media outlets.
- Excellent media training and spokesperson preparation skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; proficiency in English is a strong asset.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in media monitoring tools and PR software.
- Must reside in or be able to commute to Naucalpan, State of Mexico.
