About the Role

Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Massage Therapist to join a renowned wellness center in Cuernavaca, Morelos . This role is idóneo for a professional dedicated to promoting health and well-being through various massage modalities, with a particular emphasis on deep relaxation and therapeutic techniques. Key Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Conduct client assessments to understand their health history, specific concerns, and therapeutic goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address client needs, reduce pain, and promote relaxation.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and tranquil treatment environment, adhering to all hygiene and safety standards.
- Stay current with the latest advancements and techniques in massage therapy through continuing education.




- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and ensure timely service for all clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout the session.
- Promote the services offered by the wellness center and build a strong client base.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, with a valid professional license or certification recognized in Mexico.
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
- Excellent palpation skills and the ability to accurately assess muscle tension and dysfunction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a empathetic and professional demeanor.
- Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some evenings.
- A passion for healing and promoting well-being through touch.
- Experience working in the Cuernavaca, Morelos area is advantageous.
