About the Role

Our client, a dynamic financial institution, is looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their team in the vibrant tourist destination of Cancún, Quintana Roo . This critical role will ensure the company adheres to all relevant banking and financial regulations, policies, and procedures. The idóneo candidate will have a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in the Banca y Finanzas sector and a meticulous approach to compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting internal audits, and liaising with regulatory bodies. This position is based in Cancún, Quintana Roo , a growing hub for business and finance in Mexico. We seek a proactive individual committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage the company's regulatory compliance program.
- Monitor changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and internal audits.
- Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
- Provide training to employees on compliance policies and procedures.




- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies.
- Ensure all operations meet legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certification in compliance is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of national and international banking regulations.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Cancún, Quintana Roo.
