About the Role

Our client, a prominent pharmaceutical manufacturer in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, is seeking a skilled Farmacéutico de Producción y Procesos with specific expertise in lyophilization. This role is essential for overseeing and optimizing our sterile manufacturing operations, particularly concerning freeze-drying processes for complex pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aseptic processing, regulatory compliance (cGMP), and process validation. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of life-saving medicines. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and execute daily production activities within sterile manufacturing, focusing on lyophilization cycles.
- Develop, optimize, and validate lyophilization processes to ensure product quality and stability.
- Ensure strict adherence to cGMP guidelines, aseptic techniques, and all relevant regulatory requirements during production.
- Monitor critical process parameters and equipment performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to lyophilization and other sterile manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and review batch production records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering departments to resolve production deviations and implement improvements.




- Participate in process validation activities and equipment IQ/OQ/PQ.
- Train and mentor production operators and junior technicians on manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Stay abreast of advancements in lyophilization technology and sterile manufacturing best practices.

Requirements

- Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Active and valid Pharmacist license in Mexico.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years specifically focused on lyophilization and sterile processing.
- Proven experience in process development, optimization, and validation of lyophilization cycles.
- Thorough understanding of aseptic techniques, cleanroom environments, and cGMP requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience in team supervision.
- Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and relevant software.
- Ability to work adaptable hours and adapt to production schedules.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
