About the Role

Our client, a prominent holding company with diverse business interests based in Zapopan , is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant with a strong focus on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role is integral to ensuring the accurate and compliant financial reporting of the group's entities. The idóneo candidate will possess deep expertise in IFRS, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage complex accounting operations. The role requires extensive experience in corporate accounting and a comprehensive understanding of multinational financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Oversee general ledger functions and ensure accuracy of financial data for multiple entities.
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary financial information.




- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Stay updated on changes in IFRS and ensure proper implementation.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application experience of IFRS.
- Proven experience in financial statement consolidation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience in a multinational company or with international operations is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
