About the Role

Our client is a forward-thinking construction company actively seeking a highly skilled Arquitecto Técnico y Jefe de Obra Remoto to join their expanding operations. This role is fundamentally remote, requiring a candidate with exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage construction projects from afar. You will be instrumental in overseeing the technical aspects and on-site execution of various building projects, primarily located in and around Cuernavaca, Morelos, though your direct involvement will be managed entirely online. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a digital-first environment and is adept at coordinating complex tasks remotely. You will act as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring all construction adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, all while being based in your home office.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide remote technical supervision and coordination for construction projects in Cuernavaca, Morelos.
- Review architectural and engineering plans, ensuring constructability and adherence to specifications.
- Manage and liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and suppliers via digital communication channels.
- Conduct virtual site inspections and quality control checks, utilizing advanced communication and reporting tools.
- Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, providing regular remote updates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards applicable to projects in Cuernavaca.




- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction process through effective remote problem-solving.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive digital reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Facilitate smooth communication between the design team, on-site personnel, and client representatives.

Requirements

- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with a strong emphasis on technical oversight and site supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects remotely using digital collaboration tools and platforms.
- Excellent understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building codes in Mexico.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, adapted for remote interaction.
- Proficiency in architectural and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Spanish fluency is essential; English proficiency is a plus.
