About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and innovative energy company, is seeking an experienced Ingeniero de Producción y Operaciones Remoto to join their globally distributed team. While the operational scope may involve assets in areas such as Chihuahua, Chihuahua, MX , this role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from any location. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily production operations of oil and gas fields, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of production principles, and the ability to effectively manage remote teams and operations. It is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on production performance from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze real-time production data from various assets to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement production strategies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Oversee artificial lift systems performance and recommend optimizations.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers to align production plans with reservoir management strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental (SHE) policies and regulations.
- Prepare production reports, forecasts,



and performance analyses for management.
- Coordinate with field operations teams, providing technical guidance and support remotely.
- Evaluate new technologies and methodologies for production enhancement.
- Participate in operational reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in oil and gas production engineering and operations. Proven experience in production optimization, artificial lift systems, and well testing. Strong understanding of reservoir behavior and fluid flow principles. Proficiency in production software and data analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to manage operations and teams remotely. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote work environment. Prior experience in managing assets in Mexico is a plus.
